Will the Habs get revenge on the Senators?

The Montreal Canadiens will look to make their last two games forgettable by returning to face the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday at the Bell Centre.

While the Habs were defeated by the Boston Bruins 9-4 last Saturday, they were no match for the Senators last Thursday, losing 6-2.

So Martin St-Louis' team will want to get back on the path to victory in front of their supporters.

With 45 points, CH is in sixth place in the Atlantic Section.

For their part, the Senators are in last place with 35 points in this section. They have won three of their last five games.

Here are the 5 things to keep in mind while playing today:

1. A porous defense

The Canadian has allowed 15 goals in his last two games. If he wants to start a winning streak, he definitely needs to step up his defensive game. A large portion of Monday's practice was dedicated to this aspect of the game. We will see if the lessons have been learned and retained.

2. About the dynamics of the avalanche

Jake Allen isn't having a great season, but in his last outing he was a key factor in the Canadian's unlikely win over the Colorado Avalanche. The 33-year-old goalkeeper will look to continue this momentum and help his teammates put an end to this short run of two defeats.

3. Tanner Pearson returns

Tanner Pearson has been injured on his left hand since early December and will play again. The forward has missed the team's last 19 games. Jesse Ylönen will pass for the second time in a row.

5. Cole Caufield on fire

Cole Caufield is going through his best phase of the season. And even his career. The American has found the net in each of his last five games. He was the youngest Canadiens player since Steve Shutt in 1974–1975 to experience a similar streak.
