Networks, in collaboration with the Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil Soulanges, is offering a webinar entitled Understanding the Financial System in Canada. This virtual presentation is aimed at all immigrants in the community and will be offered free of charge on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.

The virtual workshop, led by Cyclia Lai, Business Strategy Consultant, Cultural Community Development at Desjardins, will explore several topics aimed at educating immigrants on basic financial concepts, specifically the definitions and costs of credit, the credit bureau, the Budget and everyday credit. A question and answer session will also be offered to better address attendee questions.

The General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Sébastien Laliberté, is pleased to collaborate with Réseaux by holding this workshop that has a lot to present: “Vaudreuil-Soulanges is a hospitable region and it is important to carry out concrete actions with the authorities in our community to ensure a quality reception that meets the expectations of newcomers. It is our job to create the best possible conditions to ensure a facilitating experience with them. »

Réseaux, a non-profit organization, is pleased to offer this workshop in collaboration with Desjardins for newcomers. Keep in mind that the organization has considerable experience in hosting and supporting immigrant clients.
