the results of the second round in the constituencies of French expatriates

Among French expatriates, in ten out of eleven constituencies there was a duel between the presidential majority candidates, Together!, and those of the New People’s Ecological and Social Union (Nupes). The presidential coalition won nine of them after the second round of general elections on Sunday 19 June.

The 8the constituency won by Meyer Habib (UDI) and the 9the Constituency assembled by Karim Ben Cheikh (Nupes) escape him.

  • In which 1D Constituency (North America)the influential outgoing MP, Roland Lescure (LRM), was re-elected with 55.63% of the vote, against 44.37% for his opponent from the New People’s Ecological and Social Union (Nupes), Florence Roger. He took first place in the first ballot with 35.88% of the votes.
  • In which 2e Ride (Latin America and Caribbean)the candidate of the presidential party, Eleanor Caroit, receives 57.42 % of votes while the “rebels” (nupes) Christian Rodriguez received 42.58% of the votes. In the first round, Ms. Caroit won (34.57%) and Mr. Rodriguez 28.20%.
  • In which 3e Constituency (Northern Europe)the outgoing deputy Alexander Holroyd (LRM) retains its seat in the National Assembly thanks to its 55.87% in the second ballot. Charlotte Minvielle (Nupes), his opponent only reaps 44.13% of the votes. In the first ballot he had won 38.51% of the votes, ahead of the ecologist’s 31.46%.
  • In which 4e Constituency (Benelux), Pieyre-Alexandre Anglade, LRM-invested candidate for his re-election, received 55.15% of the vote. He beats the socialist Cecilia Gondard (Nupes), which collected 44.85%.
  • In which 5e Constituency (Spain, Portugal, Monaco and Andorra)where Manuel Valls (Together!) ran, it is the Nupes, with the ecologist Renaud LeBerrewho took first place last Sunday with 27.89% of the vote, ahead of the outgoing MP, Stephane Vojetta, which had received 24.60%. This time it was the dissident LRM who prevailed against his opponent with 57.26% of the votes.
  • In which 6e Ride (Switzerland and Liechtenstein)the economist and close friend of Emmanuel Macron Marc Ferracci is elected MP thanks to his victory (64.97%) ahead of the candidate from Nupes, the “rebel”. Magali Mangin (35.03%). In the first ballot he had won 36.49% of the votes against 20.28% for Ms Mangin.
  • In which 7e Constituency (Central Europe)the outgoing deputy Fredrik Petit (MoDem), retains its seat thanks to the 60.21% it received over its competitor, Asma Rharmaoui Claquin (Nupes), which won over only 39.79% of voters. Last Sunday he won the first round with 34.58% of the votes ahead of the candidate from Nupes and her 26.06% of the votes.
  • In which 8the Ride, this includes in particular Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israelthe outgoing deputy Meyer Habib (UDI), was re-elected Deborah Abisror-de Lieme (LRM), which received 49.42% of the votes cast against 50.58% for Mr. Habib.

  • In which 10e Constituency (Middle East and Africa)the outgoing, Amelie Lakrafi (Together!), retains her mandate as MP thanks to the 63.58% of the electorate who voted for her versus 36.42% for Chantal Mussa (noops). In the first round, the outgoing MP took the lead with a margin of more than ten points and her 32.74% 22.53% Mme Musa.
  • That 11e Constituency (Eastern Europe, Asia and Oceania, i.e. 49 countries) sees the outgoing deputy, Anne Genetet (Together!) re-elected with 61.73% of the votes. his opponent, Dominic Vidal, the candidate from Nupes, gets 38.27%. The order of the first round was not disturbed as the majority member won with 38.14% ahead of her opponent and her 24.79% of the vote.
