Thales: invests in a young Canadian company – 09/30/2022 at 09:28

(CercleFinance.com) – Thales is investing in Canadian startup AI Redefined (AIR), which has created a new AI training capability where humans and machines continuously learn from each other to overcome challenging challenges in a timely manner.

AIR participated in the inaugural cohort of Thales’ AI@Centech startup acceleration program in 2019. It benefited from Thales’ expertise in AI, its commercial network and projects, and its technological framework.

In the last five years, Thales has invested more than 7 billion euros in four key digital technologies: connectivity, big data, AI and cybersecurity.

“We look forward to helping AIR realize its full potential as an AI champion at the forefront of human-machine collaboration,” said Siegfried Usal, Vice President, Digital Innovation, Thales North America.

“Thales’ commitment to selling complex systems that involve human-AI interaction, or what we call ‘controllable AI,’ gives me comfort in the future development of AI,” added G. Craig Vachon, general manager, AIR , add.
