Richard Losier wants to make the leap into state politics

The Liberal MP announced last October that he was leaving politics to pursue a career in the private sector.

For his part, Richard Losier announced in November that he was retiring and stepping down from his position as head of Medavie Health Services, which manages Ambulance New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program. He has held this position since 2017.

In a press release, Mr. Losier says he wants to Dieppe continues to occupy a larger place on the provincial and state scene.

I want to invest my time and share my expertise for the benefit of all Dieppe and New Brunswick citizens. After a rewarding career in healthcare I still have lots of energy and a strong belief that with the support of the people of Dieppe we will continue to push our equestrian sport by highlighting all our dynamism in the provincial scenehe said in a press release.

Richard Losier is the first candidate to formalize his candidacy in the Dieppe equestrian sport.

The nominating convention is scheduled for February 25, but it is not yet known when the by-elections will take place.

The next general election in New Brunswick is scheduled for October 2024.
