To submit this card extension application RP Online you need an account in the Permanent Residence Portal.
This is where my big question arises: WHO creates this account on the Permanent Residence Portal? ME or the portal itself (i.e. the Government of Canada)?
I am on the permanent residence portal page (https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/connection), but I don’t find it clear.
On the one hand, we read :
“You should only create a new account if you do the following:

a new application for permanent residence or
- a request to receive a card RP or a TVRP via this portal“
but at the same time we read :
“If you confirm your permanent resident status, we will do the following at the appropriate time:
-
Create an account for you (don’t create one yourself)…“
So who creates the account in my case?
