the SPVG points out that drink-driving remains a leading cause of accidents in Quebec.

Free drinks

The driver designated for the evening, accompanied by at least two people, only needs to identify themselves to staff upon arrival at the participating bar or restaurant in order to receive a CoDeBars wristband.

The selected person will then be offered free soft drinks by the establishment at the same consumption as the persons accompanying him/her.

The entities participating in this action, which are listed on a website bearing the name of the action, will be identified by posters placed on the front door or in the building.

the SPVG points out that driving a motor vehicle while disabled is a criminal offense under the Criminal Code.

The consequences include the withdrawal or loss of the driver’s license and the towing or confiscation of the vehicle.adds the font.
