Cook it offers an extra menu

Cook it, a Québec-based meal box company, just got its hands on Menu Extra, the premium home cooking service run by Francis Blais and Camilo Lapointe-Nascimento, two chefs we spotted on TV in 2020, and butler Alexis Demers will .

Francis Blais won Top Chefs Canada and Camilo Lapointe-Nascimento, popular Radio Canada show Les Chefs.

“We are proud to announce the arrival of Cook it to the Brigade! This Montreal company that we love is coming to help Menu Extra,” they announced this morning. Cook it provides more than just a helping hand: by acquiring 70% of the shares in Menu Extra, Cook it becomes the majority shareholder.

“Cook it was the initiator of a major transformation in the food sector with its concept of home delivery cooking sets, just like Menu Extra in the fine dining sector. This union was therefore quite natural to create an ecosystem of added value for the benefit of Cook it subscribers,” announces the latter in a press release this morning.

The Menu Extra team emphasizes that this transaction allows them to expand their delivery area. The details of the cooperation plan will be announced shortly. The Menu Extra team had recently added gourmet dinner nights to their service offering at their Montreal premises, in addition to promoting pop-up events outside the city walls.
