On Monday, December 4th, the Canadian Cultural Center invites you to an evening of screenings Annecy International Animated Film Festival ! Using a selection of seven animated films, this evening takes a first look at the major themes that will shape the next edition of the festival from June 9th to 15th, 2024.

A global event dedicated to animation Annecy International Animated Film Festival brings together the biggest names in this field and famous creativity And the diversity Animation styles and techniques. This special program for the Canadian Cultural Center is a highlight a spotlight on Portuguese animation, about its rhythms and its cinematography, which will be the focus of the 2024 edition of the festival. Two films will also deal with it the connections between dance and animation cinema : two movement arts, at the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The session will be moderated by Marcel Jeanartistic delegate of Annecy International Animated Film Festival and general director of the Quebec Cinematheque. As a critic, teacher and producer, he is also the author of several works on Quebec cinema and animation cinema.
