Air Canada received the 2024 APEX award in the Best Inflight Entertainment in North America category for its inflight entertainment system offerings.
The award was presented to the airline yesterday evening at the APEX awards ceremony in Lisbon.
The award is given to Air Canada for the first time and is based on reviews from thousands of passengers who have flown with the airline.

With several new features, Air Canada's inflight entertainment program offers more than 1,400 hours of movies, 1,900 hours of TV series and more than 600 hours of music and podcasts, as well as a selection of live TV channels.
Through collaborations with Apple TV+, Audible, Disney+ and Hayu, among others, the airline offers hours of movies and TV shows, specialty channels, music albums, games and other video and audio content on its entertainment system, all in multiple languages. from boarding to landing.
As a new feature, passengers traveling on one of the airline's three newly renovated Airbus A321 aircraft will be able to view their journey from a bird's eye view on the aircraft's screen using drift cameras.
At the 2024 awards, passengers rated nearly one million flights from more than 600 airlines around the world using a five-star scale.
Passengers had the opportunity to anonymously leave reviews in the following five subcategories on a single screen:

- Entertainment
- Wireless
Thanks to single-screen rating, air travelers can easily rate their flight in less than 15 seconds.
