• Russian soldiers tried to retake ground near Andriivka on the Bakhmut front and Verbowe in the Zaporizhzhia region on Friday. according to the Ukrainian General Staff. According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the Russian army lost at least one brigade at Avdiivka – usually 4,000 to 5,000 men. Russian forces have been trying to surround this city, the center of the Eastern Front, for several weeks.
• “The European Union will continue to provide strong financial, economic, humanitarian, military and diplomatic support to Ukraine and its people for as long as necessary.”the Member States reiterated in Conclusions of the summit, which ended on Friday in Brussels.
• Ukraine announced on Friday that it had exported 1.3 million tonnes of agricultural products since August, as well as the establishment of a maritime corridor in the Black Sea. despite Russian threats of reprisals against ships operating in the region.
