The International Olympic Committee’s “virtual sports” tournaments ahead of the Tokyo Olympics had attracted more than 250,000 participants, according to the organization. But the meeting didn’t have any media success, since the finals in games that are not part of the main disciplines of esports (unlike League of Legends, counterstrike, rocket league…).
