The DGFiP draws your attention to this new ownership obligation

As you may know, French owners have to lock a new declaration by 30. Because if the housing tax for main residences does not apply, the housing taxes for second homes and vacancies remain for all households.

In an email sent this Tuesday, March 7th, the Directorate General of Public Finances (DGFiP) explains that this new reporting obligation, listed in Article 1418 of the Tax Code, should be carried out through the “My properties” tab of their personal area on the tax website, “must allow the tax administration clearly identify the dwellings affected by these remaining taxes. »

A declaration for each of your premises

If you’ve ever gone into your personal space, you’ve seen multiple declarations requested for the same property. In fact, you must use it “for each of your premises (including parkingKeller…)”, the DGFiP recalls.
