Montreal Canadiens fans have certainly been waiting to find out when Lane Hutson will make his National Hockey League (NHL) debut.
His father, Rob Hutson, hinted at this during his appearance on the podcast The sick podcast that the diminutive defenseman will play his first game on the Bettman circuit when the Habs visit Detroit on Monday.

“We have a great group working for and with Lane to find tickets to the game. Lane played in Detroit, he had friends, so it's really lucky that all these people are a part of it. There are many people who have helped on this journey, so we are really grateful to them,” he said on Sunday.
“It's really exciting but also very stressful,” Rob Hutson added, explaining that many people had contacted her about tickets to the meeting.
Hutson signed a three-year NHL entry-level contract with the Canadiens on Friday. This season, the 20-year-old guard scored 15 goals and 34 assists for 49 points in 38 games with the Boston University Terriers.
