Los Angeles FC forward Gareth Bale’s jersey is the best-selling jersey on the Major League Soccer (MLS) website this season, the league announced on Monday.
Without disclosing the sales figures collected from the start of the campaign to September 1st, the Garber Circuit published its top 25 bestsellers. In terms of Adidas brand kits offered on MLSstore.com, Bale is ahead of Charlotte FC defender Christian Fuchs and LAFC star Carlos Vela. Behind them, forwards Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez (Los Angeles Galaxy) and Josef Martinez (Atlanta United FC) occupy seasons four and five, respectively.
Furthermore, CF Montreal has no representative within this hierarchy. Toronto FC relied on Lorenzo Insigne for 23rd place. Canadian athletes are completely absent from the list. A total of 16 countries are in the top 25 most popular jerseys. The Seattle Sounders dominate the MLS with four color bearers in the selection group, namely Raul Ruidiaz (6th), Jordan Morris (9th), Cristian Roldan (14th) and Nicolas Lodeiro (16th).
