Air Canada is the first airline in the world to bring original Disney+ productions to the air via its in-flight entertainment system.

The airline’s latest collaboration with Disney offers customers more ways to enjoy original content.

The collaboration also represents Air Canada’s latest investment in its family-focused travel experience offering, with the addition of exclusive Disney+ original productions.

“We are pleased to add Disney+ original series and films to our inflight entertainment system to further strengthen our broad offering of high-quality content,” said John Moody, general manager – product design, Air Canada.

New family-oriented offer

Starting this month, customers can watch episodes of Disney+ original series such as Limitless with Chris Hemsworth, Cars: On the Road and Zootopia+, as well as original films such as Once Upon a Time and Chip and Dale, the Risk Rangers.

Air Canada explains this new family-oriented offer follows other recent collaborations of the same nature between Air Canada and Disney, such as the Walt Disney World Resort, Florida-themed safety video released for the summer travel season, a colorful children’s room at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida in the Maple Leaf Lounge for cross-border flights at Toronto Pearson International Airport and the special livery to celebrate the release of the hit Disney and Pixar film Red Alert. More projects will be added in the future.
