Big statement from Stéphane Julien about Joshua Roy and his future in Montreal

Yes, it’s Connor Bedard on everyone’s lips right now with his performances worthy of a game at Easy in NHL23, but let’s not forget his teammates.

Some of them like Logan Stankoven, Dylan Guenther, Shane Wright, Olen Zellweger and some others Joshua Roy are doing well at this Junior World Championship.

Team Canada’s assistant coach Stéphane Julien was at 98.5 Sports and had nothing but good words for the young 19-year-old player, who is owned by the Canadian.

Josh is one of the most “hockey savvy” players I’ve met as a junior coach. His touch on the web is incredible.

What I love about Josh, he’s perfect for Montreal. He’s a guy who’s not nervous with the puck. He’s a guy capable of aiming for big goals at important moments.

I’m not worried we’ll see him with the Canadian

– Stephane Julien

In 4 games so far, Josh has recorded 3 goals, 3 assists for 6 points and proves his smarts with every appearance.
