Last season, McLean recorded 30 goals and 47 assists in 33 regular season games for the Barrie Jr. Colts U16 AAA team. He also recorded 14 goals and 17 assists in 10 playoff games and one goal and seven assists in five OHL Cup games.
“I have always dreamed of playing in the OHL and there is no better organization to play for,” McLean said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to welcome Alex and his family to the Storm organization,” said Storm General Manager George Burnett.
“His exceptional ability to generate offense is matched only by his intelligence, competitive spirit and ability to play away from the puck. »
