Will Arber Xhekaj suffer the same fate as PK Subban in the Montreal Canadiens jersey?
The young defenseman, who missed Saturday's game against the Penguins, hasn't been at his best since returning to the National League on Jan. 23, with three penalties in two games.
However, if Jordan Harris had found himself in the same situation as Xhekaj, would he have visited the press box in Pittsburgh on Saturday?
“I think the CH realized that Xhekaj was in the spotlight. He starts doing commercials and these things bother the Canadian. Look at the PK Subban case, it's disturbing. Even Martin St-Louis said it. He prefers stars on the ice,” Marinaro said.
Even though Xhekaj is going through difficult times, Tony Marinaro and Jean-Charles Lajoie believe that the Canadian handled the sheriff's situation very poorly.
“It is certain that he missed his chance with three penalties in the last two games. We have to admit that he is currently CH's most unreliable defender. “A guy who comes home on Friday and apologizes to his coaches, you were playing in his head,” Marinaro said during his Coliseum segment.
