Aside from the festivities taking place around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, fans were treated to great days of events throughout the city of Montreal and some Montreal Canadiens players also got in on the action!
On Thursday, the experienced Formula 1 driver presented Valtteri Botasswapped his single-seater for a pair of skates and joined two Canadian players for some fun.
In fact, the Sauber driver Valtteri Bottas spent an afternoon with the attackers Alex Newhook And Rafael Harvey-Pinard at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard for the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix.
Bottas, a 34-year-old Finn, should not have been too out of place considering that ice hockey is the most popular sport in his home country.
For the occasion, he wore the Canadian’s red jersey with the number 77 on the back, the same number he wears in Formula 1.
Bottas shared photos from the event on social media and seemed to be having fun. Of course!
He even got to drive the Zamboni. We could say that there has never been such a good driver at the wheel of the resurfacer at the Brossard Sports Complex.
