In early February, a Chinese spy balloon was intercepted by the US Air Force. This balloon, first sighted over Alaska on January 28, was wrecked off the coast of North Carolina on Saturday, February 4. China has maintained its innocence, saying it was just a misplaced weather balloon, but US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken canceled his trip to Beijing anyway. Since then, three more balloons or planes have been sighted and shot down over the United States and Canada between February 10 and 12.

The last vehicle to be lowered over Lake Huron between the United States and Canada was in the shape of an octagon with hanging ropes. The interrogation remains complete, especially when one of the American generals, General VanHerck, said that he “did not rule out any hypothesis at this time”. This has woken up the crowd of American ufologists who believe that aliens regularly visit their country. Theories that have been given serious thought lately, as in an earlier episode.

Is the espionage hypothesis correct? Do countries regularly send balloons and other drones to monitor each other?
