The Montreal Canadiens recruits will not travel to Buffalo this year to compete against recruits from other National Hockey League (NHL) teams.
In any case, Renaud Lavoie revealed this during the show JIC on TVA Sports, Tuesday.

“It will be at the Bell Centre that it will happen. There will be two games on September 14 and 15 between the Canadiens rookies and the Toronto Maple Leafs rookies,” he explained.
“I think that’s a good thing because I think there were a few too many games played in the rookie tournament and now there are two. You look at what you need to look at. Plus, people can come and watch extra games, which is always nice.”
This is good news for CH fans who will have the opportunity to see with their own eyes promising players like Owen Beck, David Reinbacher or even the skater who will be selected fifth in the next NHL auction.
