UNUSUAL – Its creator uprooted corn with his bare hands for more than three months. In Quebec, a gigantic maze cut into a cornfield has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest of its kind in the world, reports a Radio-Canada article Wednesday, November 23.
THE Great Kamouraska MazeLocated on the banks of the St. Lawrence River in eastern Canada, it consists of 21 kilometers of maze covering an area of 266,000 square meters or about 26 soccer fields. as you can see in the video at the top of the article.

Its designer, Luc Pelletier, began harvesting corn in early June before completing his work on September 17 with the help of his family. After attempting the feat for a number of years, he managed to steal the world record from other competitors in the United States. In order to be admitted, the corridors of the labyrinth had to be all the same width.
“When people ask me what I do for a living, I say I’m losing the world”laughs Luc Pelletier Radio Canada. Before winter, the corn was harvested by the farming company that owns the field, but the work, open to the public, is scheduled to come back to life next spring.
