The Writers’ Retreat is back

The Fransaskois Writers’ Retreat, an event organized by the Conseil culturel fransaskois (CCF), began on August 24th and will last until August 27th in the grounds of St. Peter’s Abbey in Munster, 120 km east of Saskatoon.

As part of this event, many people who are enthusiastic about writing come together to write texts and share their passion for writing. The literary event will be moderated this year by the renowned artist Anne-Marie White.

One of the participants at the event, Élisabeth Foucault, explains that she has had a deep passion for writing and culture since she was young.

Élisabeth Foucault states that her general interest is in writing short stories. However, as part of this event, she harbors the ambition to start writing a play.

Getting to know other literary genres

For her part, Marie-Lou Bernatchez, a participant at the event, says she met writers at La Retraite fransaskoise while interviewing former participants to write her article for the Fransaskois newspaper. living water.
