Ranking: The company's ranking is based on the reported number of full-time employees in Quebec as of December 31. When companies have the same number of employees, they have the same rank and appear in alphabetical order. The numbering takes into account the repetition of the same rank for several companies.
Companies: Only parent companies or Canadian divisions of foreign companies are registered. Their subsidiaries may be combined.
Total number of employees in Canada: Number includes Quebec and the rest of Canada.
Headquarters: If the company name indicates that it is a Canadian branch, the headquarters is the one in Canada. Otherwise, this is the world headquarters.
Methodology: The ranking of the 300 largest companies in Quebec for 2023 is prepared based on the number of full-time employees reported by each company as of December 31, 2022. The latter were asked to voluntarily fill out a form between February 24 and May 5, 2023. Due to a methodological change related to the cut-off date, some data may differ from those collected last year. The course over a year provides information about the change in a company's position in the ranking between 2022 and 2023. It is determined based on the number of full-time employees as of December 31, 2022 (rank 2023) and the number of full-time employees as of December 31, 2021 ( Rank 2022), reported by companies this year. The progress of a deal is indicated by an arrow or dash. An empty field indicates that the company will be included in the ranking. Although all necessary measures have been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information, Lesaffaires cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies, incomplete information or missing information.
