Even though the result shows that the game was a real nightmare, Martin St-Louis still took some positives from this encounter against the Bruins.
At least that's what the Montreal Canadiens head coach said in his press conference on Saturday.

“If you look at the third period, the channel is on. It wasn't perfect in the first two periods, but we fought. We gave gifts to the Bruins in the third. We'll watch the videos and try to tighten it up. We need to correct our mistakes, get back to work and move on.”
For his part, Samuel Montembeault did not hide. His team simply gave up on their last mission.
“I didn't have a good game. You have to learn from that. We came back anyway. They were only one goal ahead in the third period. We really had a terrible time. We gave up instead of continuing to work. We have to do better in the future. When you see several goals scored in a row, it's a mental challenge. I have a job to do and it’s up to me to stay focused.”

For his part, David Savard expects the Canadiens to bounce back in their next game on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators.
“After a few goals I think we could have done better. I think there were several odd goals where our coverage was poor. It really hurt us. We have to find a way to respond better. It's disappointing. The way we played in the third period was unacceptable. We allowed our goalkeepers to concede goals.”
