The Canadian will not travel to the rookie tournament in Buffalo next fall

There will be a change to the schedule for the Canadiens’ rookie camp next fall. This is what Renaud Lavoie revealed on Tuesday on TVA Sports.

Unlike previous years, when the Canadian sent his recruits to Buffalo to play several games against rookies from different teams, this year there will only be two games, and these will be played at the Bell Centre against rookies from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Good news for fans who can see the next generation of the Canadian at work.

Here is what Renaud Lavoie had to say:

It will take place at the Bell Centre, where it will happen. On September 14 and 15, there will be two games between the rookies of the Canadiens and the rookies of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I think that’s a good thing because I think there were a few too many games played in the rookie tournament and now there are two. You look at what you need to look at. Plus, people can come and watch extra games, which is always nice.

– Renaud Lavoie

A good decision by the team. There is no point in having rookies play multiple games in Buffalo. The real evaluations will be done in the real camp.

Next fall we will see some interesting players in action, including Lane Hutson, David Reinbacher And Logan Mailloux. They will be hungry to find a place in the big club next season!
