The Canadian will be able to sell out the Bell Centre

Starting October 8, the Bell Centre can be filled to maximum capacity. Quebec Health Minister Christian Dubé announced this on Thursday in a press conference in which he announced easing of health measures for shows, cinemas and sporting events.

This means that 21,302 fans can attend the Canadiens’ home opener on October 16 against the New York Rangers.

However, all spectators must present their vaccination certificate before entry. Wearing a mask will also be mandatory.

During the last playoffs, the spectator limit was set at 3,500 and increased to 7,500 in September.

News that was warmly welcomed by the members of the Habs, starting with the management.

This is excellent news for all culture, entertainment and sports industries that have been hit hard by the pandemic. We look forward to welcoming audiences back to our theatres and we will ensure we maintain the highest standards in terms of health measures to ensure a safe return to normality.explained Margaret Bélanger, President of CH Group, Sports and Entertainment, France.
