TORONTO – A pastor, a Playboy model and a real estate agent nicknamed “Bubba” are among the single women who will attempt to seduce Canadian Football League (CFL) player Brad Smith on “The Bachelor Canada.”
The broadcaster Citytv has announced five of the 25 participants in the new reality show.
The list also includes an office clerk and a university recruiting officer. The singles whose identities have just been revealed are from New Brunswick, Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.
The nine-part reality show will premiere on October 3rd.
The show, hosted by Tyler Harcott, is filmed in a mansion in Victoria.
Brad Smith played for the Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts and Edmonton Eskimos. His father, Senator Larry Smith, is a former CFL commissioner and former president of the Alouettes.
