It is with a light heart that Evans will marry Emily Flat, his high school sweetheart, during the Canadiens players’ season review earlier this week in Brossard after proposing last year.

Gallagher, for his part, will unite his destiny with Quebecer Emma Fortin, who already wore a pretty white dress at the couple’s engagement last October. During the couple’s stay in Whistler, British Columbia, the veteran also got down on one knee when he took out the “Garnotte”.

“I’m definitely going to Gallagher’s wedding [et de sa femme] because they do it in Montreal, but for the others I have to check with my girlfriend because it’s abroad, indicated goalkeeper Samuel Montembeault, who will also be busy building his new house in Trois-Rivières. It’s a lot of traveling if you want to visit all three, but I’m happy for everyone and it should be some great times.”

“If these three guys get married this summer, it’s going to be fun,” predicted captain Nick Suzuki. We’ll have the opportunity to spend some quality time together. It’ll be nice to see the guys again in the summer.”

“It was a great summer with several weddings,” said Anderson, confirming that he was looking forward to being reunited with family and friends to put a disappointing season on the ice behind him.
