“Slafkovsky is ahead of Wright… by a lot”

The Montreal Canadiens’ first overall winner, Juraj Slafkovsky, played his first three games in the National Hockey League (NHL).

The colossus has a -1 record and one shot on goal in his first steps under the blue-white-red colors in the regular season.

Habs head coach Martin St-Louis gradually increased the Slovakian winger’s playing time in each of the three games the 18-year-old forward played.

In his first career start at the Bettman Circuit, Slafkovsky was used in the 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs, 9:31.
