Second round between Montreal and Boston on TVA Sports

The Montreal Canadiens managed to snatch a nice win from the Bruins a week ago, and they’ll try again tonight as the two great rivals face off again, this time in Boston.

This matchup will be broadcast on TVA Sports starting at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, Martin St-Louis’ men have stumbled three times: after being soundly beaten by the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday, they suffered two narrow defeats against the Calgary Flames and the Vegas Golden Knights.

That means the Habs have won just two of their last nine games and are desperate to slow this severe downturn that began on October 30th. Today’s game is the first of five away games as the team will then play three games in California and another in Columbus.

For their part, the Bruins will be rested, having played just one game since their loss to the CH, a 5-2 win last Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres.

Their forward David Pastrnak isn’t slowing down either with a haul of 24 points in 15 games. If he keeps up the pace, Pastrnak will finish the season with around sixty goals and 131 points despite the retirements of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci.
