Toronto, Ontario — October 4, 2023 – SAP SE today announced a partnership with PLATOa technology services and software testing company majority owned by Indigenous Canadians, with a mission to help Indigenous people seeking work in the technology sector overcome barriers to employment. Thanks to this partnership, SAP can rely on PLATO to provide our customers with the testing expertise they need to successfully launch their projects.
PLATO is 51% Indigenous-owned and employs 33% of its workforce from First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities across Canada. The company provides high-quality training and employment in the Canadian technology sector by offering software testing as well as technology services. Through this partnership to provide SAP testing services, PLATO is establishing an internal SAP Center of Excellence, with SAP investing in training and mentoring PLATO employees on SAP technology platforms.
