Salary increase: Here are the predictions for 2024

The pay rise survey conducted by Normandin Beaudry shows that Canada, excluding the freezes, is projected to average an increase of 3.6%, but that employers have forecast the largest increase in their payroll budget in Quebec (3.7%). .

“Although there is still talk of a possible recession in the coming months, companies are forecasting budgets above 3% for the third straight year,” said Anna Potvin, partner and head of compensation practice at Normandin Beaudry.
