Rank: Company ranked by reported number of full-time employees in Quebec as of December 31. When companies have the same number of employees, they are ranked the same and appear in alphabetical order. The numbering takes into account the repetition of the same rank for multiple companies.

Company: Only parent companies or Canadian divisions of foreign companies are listed. Your subsidiaries may be grouped together.

Total Employees in Canada: The number includes Quebec and the rest of Canada.

Headquarters: If the company name indicates that it is a Canadian subsidiary, the head office is located in Canada. Otherwise it is the global headquarters.

Methodology: The 2023 ranking of Quebec’s 300 Largest Companies is prepared based on each company’s reported number of full-time employees as of December 31, 2022. The latter were asked to voluntarily fill out a form between February 24 and May 5, 2023. Due to a methodological change related to the cut-off date, some data may differ from those collected last year. The course over a year provides information about the position change of a company in the ranking between 2022 and 2023. It is determined based on the number of full-time employees on December 31, 2022 (rank 2023) and the number of full-time employees – date on December 31, 2021 ( Rank 2022), reported by companies this year. The progress of a deal is indicated by an arrow or a dash. An empty field indicates that the company will be included in the ranking.
