Nominingue will host the annual provincial disc golf tournament on October 14 and 15, organized by the Nominingue Development Association (ADN) in collaboration with Camp Nominingue and Nominingue Golf Club.

The tournament will be held on three courses simultaneously: the permanent course and a temporary course at Camp Nominingue and a course at Nominingue Golf Club.

The first players start on Saturday around 9 a.m. and play two courses during the day. The final round takes place on Sunday morning.

The tournament will feature approximately 80 players from around the world, from Quebec to Ontario and elsewhere in North America. Spectators are welcome, entry is free.

Disc golf is a booming sport played by more than 220,000 players in associations at more than 10,000 golf courses around the world, including 360 in Canada. As the name suggests, it is played like golf, with the balls replaced by discs (frisbees) and the holes replaced by baskets.

The tournament, now in its fourth year, has become a benchmark in the world of disc golf. Holding in the fall provides an opportunity for entertainment for everyone and at the same time brings interesting economic benefits for traders, estimates DNA.
