Norman Flynn proposes a major transaction to the Canadian

The Canadian came close to winning last Tuesday night’s lottery draw, but as luck would have it, he will be selected at No. 5 overall next June.

Now that we officially know CH’s selection rank in the next draft, there will be a lot of rumors and speculation about it in the next few weeks Kent Hughes will or should do.

To speed up the team’s rebuild, Flynn said he would reach out if he were GM Pat Verbeek the Anaheim Ducks offer to trade CH’s 5th overall pick in exchange for the young and fiery center player Mason McTavish.

He admitted he has no idea whether McTavish might be available or not, but said he’s the type of player that would make him forgo the Canadiens’ top pick this year.
