Montembeault in net against the Islanders

Goaltender Samuel Montembeault will be in net for the Canadiens for the second straight game tomorrow night when the team hosts the Islanders.

“It’s deserved,” said coach Martin St-Louis in the morning when asked about this decision. This is the second time in two weeks that Montembeault will make his second consecutive start after signing a three-year contract extension with the team on December 1st.

Striker Jake Evans missed training this morning. to undergo treatment.

The team will look to avoid a third straight loss against the Islanders tomorrow.
