Martin Leclerc explains why he won’t be back at BPM Sports

As we reported to you yesterday, the station BPM sports has officially unveiled its new lineup for the 2023-24 season.

In the new schedule, we point out that several moderators and staff will not be back.

Among them is the journalist Martin Leclerc from Radio Canada Sports who worked with the host on the return program Martin Lemay.

Leclerc has worked with the broadcaster for a number of years but will not be there next year. He himself confirmed the news by replying to a user who asked him the question directly on his account. Twitter.

He also explained the two reasons for his absence: the inability to agree a new deal with the broadcaster and the lack of time as he has to write a new book in the fall. Here’s what he had to say.

“No Martin. I won’t be back at BPM this year. For two reasons: 1. We could not agree on the terms of the contract; 2. I have a book to write this fall.”
I wish Martin Lemay every success on the comeback show.”

This is a great loss for the channel, as not only was the journalist extremely credible, but he was also highly valued and respected in the eyes of the listeners.
