The Emerging Music Festival in Abitibi-Témiscamingue has found its new General Director. This is Marie-Luce Doré, responsible for culture, dissemination and animation at the city of La Sarre and founding member of the Festival des Langues sales.
After 15 years in the culture world, in the same position, I didn’t feel like I had made it. I always had a lot of plans, but I took a chance. The stars matched, things settled down so I was able to submit my application and get the job. I am very happy
says Ms. Doré.
Although her position requires her to travel frequently to Rouyn-Noranda during the summer, she will also complete tasks from her home in Abitibi-Ouest.
Marie-Luce Doré confirms that the unveiling of the programming of the next FME should not take long, as for the Guinguette. At the moment we are waiting for permits. I can’t confirm anything, but I can tell you that there are many projects on the board
She says.
Positions are being advertised to fill some departures in the team that have occurred over the past year.
After a great summer in 2022, the 21st edition of the Emerging Music Festival in Abitibi-Témiscamingue marks a return to normal
.
Of course, last year was the 20th anniversary event. But we’re back with an equally extravagant edition of the FME
promises Ms. Doré.
