Lars Eller could be the next Washington Capitals player to change address.
The Capitals just traded defenseman Dmitry Orlov to the Boston Bruins and Eller was the other Capital player on The Athletic’s trade list.
Journalist from the same media, Tarik El-Bashir, wrote on Thursday that Eller will obviously change her address by the deadline.
For his part, the renowned Elliotte Friedman states that the name of Eller and that of defenseman Nick Jensen circulate throughout the National League.
With the Capitals, Eller scored the decisive goal in the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals against the Vegas Golden Knights. The towering center also played for the Montreal Canadiens and St. Louis Blues, the l-team that took him 13th overall in 2007.
The 33-year-old Dane arrived in Montreal with the trade that sent Jaroslav Halak to the Blues in 2010. Marc Bergevin traded him to the Capitals for two second-round picks in the 2016 draft.
