“Kent Hughes can’t miss this”

If the Canadians don’t meet their goals by the close, they could well come back in the draft.

Guillaume Latendresse hypothesized that his previous training would capitalize by compromising Josh Anderson in the repechage during Wednesday’s “La Poche Bleue le Midi” program.

“Right now, Josh Anderson could be playing in Calgary, Pittsburgh or Edmonton. Several teams would need a player like Josh Anderson. If he keeps playing like this, his value will be high in the draft. I don’t think Kent Hughes can do without it.”

The analyst believes the power forward is currently at its full potential and could help multiple teams.

“Josh Anderson has been performing really well for a while. We see the player we were supposed to have when we bought it. He’s physically fit, he skates and I think he’s consistent every night. Even if things don’t always go perfectly offensively, he manages to stand solidly. I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve seen of Josh Anderson lately. It’s the best hockey I’ve seen Josh Anderson play with the Canadiens.”
