Jeopardy returns to ITV with Stephen Fry as presenter.

He expressed his delight at becoming the new presenter for the UK version and admitted to being a big fan of the US version.

Former UK presenters for the show, which aired on Channel 4 and Sky, were Steve Jones and Derek Hobson.

Original presenter Art Fleming was at the helm until Canadian TV presenter Alex Trebek replaced him in one of TV’s most coveted roles.

ITV Entertainment director Katie Rawcliffe also shared the actor’s enthusiasm for the long-awaited reboot.

The ITV boss said the QI presenter was the perfect presenter for the new game show and welcomed the idea the show could reach a whole new audience.
