Janic Tremblay succeeds Michel Désautels

Janic has continued to evolve in Radio Canada radio since its inception. He is an experienced journalist with great curiosity, creativity and rigorexplained Luce Julien, Director General of Information at Radio-Canada, adding that this is the case known for his closeness to the audience.

Janic Tremblay, who joined Radio-Canada in 1998 after practicing law for a number of years, has worked as a news, current affairs and public affairs reporter on several of Radio-Canada’s radio programs. He has been working on the show since 2016 desalination on Sunday.

He has several reports in the United States, Europe and Africa to his credit. He is also the author of several radio series on economic decarbonization and the impact of technology.

Mr. Tremblay has also received awards and accolades: in 2008 he was a co-winner of the Canadian Award for Excellence in Health Reporting, presented by the Canadian Medical Association, and received the First Prize for Recreational Journalism – National Radio Category – presented by the Conseil Québécois du loisirs over the years 2019 and 2020.
