Quebec singer La Zarra, who will represent France during this Saturday’s Eurovision final, has so far been extremely discreet about her private life and has made rare confidences about her daughter, who she “raised alone”.

France’s representative at the Eurovision contest has in fact agreed to share tender confidences about her daughter, who she is ‘raising alone’.

“I’ve always fought for what I wanted: I raised my daughter on my own, I entered an environment that isn’t easy, I saw an open door and I made a choice. I may be a little crazy, but I think I’m calming down with age,” said the “Obviously” hitmaker, whose real name is Fatima Zahra Hafdi.

“She (her daughter, editor’s note) has been living with me in Paris since November. My role as a mother is the most important of all. When the work gets overwhelming, I adapt. And if she’s not well, I’ll stop everything,” the singer added.

A few weeks ago, La Zarra had canceled several concerts, causing concern among fans. She recently reassured her audience by promising a spectacular show this Saturday during the Eurovision final.

“It’s the home stretch, I’m more determined than ever to wear the colors of France with pride and love. In the most difficult times, we see the people who love us and the power of love. We cannot always reach unanimity. So many of you have told me that you believe in me and in my song, your song. And that’s all I need. We will not give up […] We are more than ready to make the Liverpool scene sparkle.”

The first images of his performance, taken during rehearsals, show a spectacular staging in which the artist appears several meters above the ground singing. Something that will captivate viewers (we hope) and make his daughter proud.
