During the Habs’ seventh preseason game Thursday night against the Ottawa Senators, Hoffman formed a line with Brendan Gallagher and Kirby Dach. Dvorak, meanwhile, completed the unit of Juraj Slafkovsky and Josh Anderson in the centre.
The two men did not score and the context of their injuries was not given by the organization.
Like Hoffman and Dvorak, defenseman Mike Matheson did not practice with his teammates on Friday. The Quebecer, who skipped his move against the senators, received a day of treatment.
After Thursday’s 4-3 loss, head coach Martin St-Louis assured the press that Matheson was “healthy”.
The Canadian will be looking to win a first duel in this pre-season calendar in his final showdown on Saturday against the ‘Sens’ in Bouctouche, New Brunswick.
