INTRODUCING HÉLÈNE MITJAVILE AND THÉO LABOULANDINE FROM MELOCOTON
MELOCO COTTON is a production company based in ParisHélène MITJAVILE And Theo LABOULANDINE founded in 2011. They explore different genres and formats – fiction, animation, documentaries, short films, feature films and series, united by shared values. They deal with strong contemporary themes, with a realism that leaves room for poetic or comic escapades, and they strive to offer a fair representation of female characters.
After ten years of producing numerous short films, including international co-productions, as well as documentaries for television and new media, the French company is taking on new creative challenges and developing feature and animated films as well as documentaries and game series for television and new media platforms. They also want to develop independent video games.
They are also active members of the Union of Independent Producers, where Théo is a member of the audiovisual office, while Hélène was a member of the Unifrance short film office for three years and of PXN (Producers of Digital Experiences, where Théo is a member of the CA) and reader in various commissions.
