After scoring a hat trick in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers, the forward was the true hero of the game. But that narrative gets even stronger when we learn he was playing with a fairly serious injury.

“I took a hit in the first hour and broke my wrist,” he revealed during a passage on The Pat McAfee Show. I picked up a few things between classes to make sure I could play.

However, we can wonder if Stone required surgery on his wrist during the summer season and if he will be able to start the 2023-34 season with the Golden Knights.

In 22 games of the last playoffs, the 31-year-old veteran has recorded 11 goals and 13 assists for 24 points.
