THURSDAY, ESPN revealed his list of top talent outside of the NHL. This list was headed by Rachel Doerrie presents the top 50 prospects not currently playing on the Bettman circuit.

Demidov is extremely talented, he really makes a difference. His elite skills give him the highest chance of becoming an NHL superstar. There’s a good chance he develops into an elite offensive talent and scores more than a point per game for a decade in the NHL.

CH fans have been waiting for their team to select a player with such pure talent as Demidov for years. Last season he collected 60 points, including 23 goals, in 30 games in the MHL with SKA-1946 St. Petersburg. This corresponds to a rate of 2 points per game, which is significantly higher than the respective odds of Kirill Kaprizov, Artemi Panarin And Nikita Kucherov at the same age in the MHL.
The defenders Artyom Levshunov (Chicago Blackhawks), Alexander Nikishin (Carolina Hurricanes), Zayne Parekh (Calgary Flames) Zeev Buium (Minnesota Wild) complete the top five.
The defender for his part David Reinbacher is number 27 on this list.
- 18 years old, Ivan Demidov is a 5’11″/167lbs right winger who was selected in the 1st round (5th overall) in the 2024 draft. So far this season, he has compiled a record of 5 goals and 10 assists for a total of 15 points in 19 games the KHL.
