This week, viewers on Coronation Street saw David Platt (played by Jack P. Shepherd) do his best to try and get his son Max Turner (Paddy Bever) out of prison. But things quickly went awry between the two men when Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) stepped in.
After Max joined Griff Reynolds’ (Michael Condron) racist gang for the past few months, things took a turn when the teenager was arrested last week for inciting attempted murder.
The arrest comes after the teenager made harmful propaganda videos about certain races and religions that prompted his former classmate Blake (Adam Little) to take action, leading to the killing of Alya Nazir (Sair Khan).
When Max was charged with terrorism sponsorship, David turned to his family to help him find a good lawyer and Audrey (Sue Nicholls) said she would release money to her house to help him find money.
However, when her sly son spoke to her privately, Audrey changed her mind about the fund offering, which angered David.

After berating Stephen for interfering in a situation that was none of his business, David pounced on him and angrily pushed him into the kitchen cupboards.
However, as David managed to subdue the businessman despite his recent rampage, fans have questioned the accuracy of the scene.
Sofaneilas wrote: “How could Stephen kill two men when skinny Dave can throw him against the wall like he’s one of those sticky alien baby toys. »
Onelife3 added: “Stephen has killed a rugby player and managed to lift him up and he is pushed against a wall by 1.8m tall midget David. »

Though many fear David’s actions will have dire consequences following his uncle’s recent killing spree.
Last year, the Canadian businessman claimed his first victim by throwing Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) over a two-story building.
The event occurred when Leo threatened to expose Stephen’s lies to his family after finding out he was planning to sell Audrey’s house to steal its value and pay off his ex-partner.

When he confronted him, he told Stephen that the police would be briefed on the whole scandal once his family found out the truth.
Seeing red, he threw him to his death over the balcony, convincing people that Leo had decided to flee the country.
Though things got complicated when his father Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin) showed up and didn’t believe Stephen’s story.
Suspecting the disappearance, Teddy confronts him about what really happened to Leo, and Stephen punches again.
Stephen picked up the closest object heavy enough to cause damage and hit Teddy on the head with the puncher from the factory table.
Stephen fatally struck Teddy in the head, claiming his second victim and disposing of his body by sinking it in a box in the canal.
Actor Todd Boyce recently told Encause.co.uk that all of the characters on the soap opera are afraid of ending up on the death list.
He said: “The same people ask me all the time, ‘So how long are you going to be on the show? “.
“Because people asked me three or four times, same person! I just want to know you really, really sweat. »
